Article 4. Burn Site
7-401 Nature of material.
No person shall dump any material at the city burn site except trees, brush, or clean lumber (lumber that does not have attached nor is coated with materials that produce heavy smoke when burned, such as heavy oils and tar paper).

7-402 Permission requested.
No person shall dump such material at the city burn site without first obtaining permission from the city clerk during regular business hours, informing the city clerk of the nature of the material to be dumped, and having the material readily on hand for inspection, if requested by the city clerk.

7-403 Designated area.
The trees, brush and clean lumber may only be dumped in the proper designated area at the city burn site.

7-404 Rules and regulations.
The city staff shall promulgate such rules and regulations for the burning of materials at such burn site.

7-405 Penalty.
Violations of this article may be subject to a fine not exceeding $100 and/or a jail sentence not to exceed 30 days.
